Our loving son, brother and uncle passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.  Age 52 years.  Robert Paul Delmont was born December 5, 1957 in Saginaw to Lawrence and Dolores (Abbott) Delmont.  They survive him.  Bob was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  He worked as a tile setter for many area companies.  Robert was an avid golfer who loved being outdoors and gardening.  He was a huge Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Surviving besides his parents, Bob leaves a brother Ronald Delmont; two sisters, Diane Delmont and Barbara (Daniel) Maldonado; seven nieces and nephews, Heather Gray, Savannah Delmont, Lucas and Jillane Jones, Jessica, Cody and Nicolas Maldonado; and many other loving family members and special friends.
Funeral service will take place 10AM Saturday, August 28 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd.  Fr. David Parsch will officiate.  Friends are welcome to gather with the family at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd. (South M-47) on Friday from 5PM to 9PM, and at the church on Saturday one hour before the funeral.  A prayer vigil will take place 7PM Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial offerings may be made to the discretion of the Delmont family.
